Does Duphaston Cause Abdominal Cramps?

Hi, I have been prescribed the medicine duphoston by my doctor. I had a miscarriage at 23 weeks of pregnancy six months back. i have notices a get a cramping abdominal pain after taking this medicine. is it a normal thing to happen?a have been adviced to take this medicine from sixteenth day of M cycle, but mistakenly i started few days earlier. Please let me know if this Med is working for me.

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Duphaston causes pain during periods, irregular period, heavy bleeding during periods. So your abdominal cramps could be due to duphaston. This time you have taken medicine earlier. There is nothing to worry about it. From next time you can take from sixteenth day.
