Hi , i have noticed blood coming from my mouth when i rinsed my mouth after brushing my teeth and my pallate, then i open my mouth and when i looked at it i saw the blood coming from my pallate right side, but after a while it stop. What do you tink the cause of the bleeding? did i brushed my pallate so hard? lately , ive been coughing hard due to its really dry and itchy cough.Do you think its related to that?
Bleeding from palate can be due to traumatic injury with a toothbrush or can be due to stimulation caused due to toothbrush of there is already Infection or Inflammation present over palate.. Coughing can be due to irritation of palate due to injury or can also be due to throat infection or Inflammation.. As bleeding ceased immediately nothing is needed to be worried now.. As of now do warm saline gargles, suck throat lozenges and also take cough suppressant syrups.. In case of recurring bleeding or no improvement in cough consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
