Hi,

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that drinking lemon juice in warm water causes headaches. However, excessive consumption of lemon juice may cause some adverse effects, such as heartburn, acid reflux, and upset stomach. Headaches can have many causes, such as dehydration, stress, lack of sleep, and hormonal changes. Your headaches may be related to one of these factors rather than the lemon water.

If you are concerned about your headaches, I would recommend talking to your doctor or a healthcare professional. They can help determine the underlying cause of your headaches and recommend the appropriate treatment. In the meantime, you may want to consider reducing your intake of lemon water and increasing your water intake to help stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water can help alleviate headaches caused by dehydration.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
