Does Drinking And Smoking Weed Cause Delayed Periods?
Does drinking or smoking weed make you have a late period? Or does it make Plan B less effective? The condom broke about 2 and a half weeks ago and I just got off my period the day I did it. I usually have my period every three weeks. Is that every three weeks from when I start or three weeks from when I end. I started on Monday morning the last two periods that I know for sure. So I don t know if I should have had it last Monday or the Monday coming up. But I just want to know if alcohol or marijuana will make plan B less effective or effects my period. Also I have been eating a lot less and been pretty stressed if that makes it late? When should I start to worry that I m pregnant is the real question I guess
Alcohol and marijuana have very little effect on hormones. Therefore plan B won't be affected by it. While drugs have very little effect on hormones and therefore they ALSO would have very little effect on periods, stress and other changes in food/sleep/routines DO have effects on hormone levels and periods. Plan B is for about a 48 hr window around the time of unprotected sex. Getting a pregnancy test at 1-2 weeks past the time when one should have had a period would be likely to be accurate.
