Does Diabetes Cause Burning Sensation And Itching In The Vagina?
MY WIFE TAKE PILLS TO CONTROL HER BLOOD SUGAR FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES , BUT SHE IS GETTING A BURNING, ITCHING FEELING DOWN IN AND AROUND THE VAGINA AREA . SHE CRYS AT NIGHT TRYING TO WASH IT , AND EVERYONE SAYS IT CAUSED BY THE PILLS SHE TAKES AND SUGAR COMING OUT OF HER BODY. IS THIS TRUE AND IF SO WHAT CAN SHE DO ABOUT IT THAT WILL CALM THE BURNING AND ITCHING?
Hello dear. I think she is suffering from a mycotic vaginitis. During diabetes the blood glucose level is high and it creates a suitable environement for candida to grow. Even the clinical signs are the ones of mycotic vaginitis. First of all she should keep blood glucose level in normal range. She also can use antimycotic drugs and antimycotic ovule. Best regards.
