Does Cough In Infants Related To Cold Temperature At Home?

hi, we have 2 daughters, 1 of 3yrs and 1 of 6 mths. They both have coughs and my wife insists of having minimal heating during the day and no heating in the house at night. The kids do not seem to be getting rid of their coughs is this related to the temperature of the house.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hello,

n0lo please, many a time this is not related to the ambient room temperature and it is related to the climatic changes and along with viral illness which is circulating in the community or it could be because of multitriggered wheezing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sumanth Amperayani, Pediatrician, Pulmonology
