Does Climate Change Cause Migraines And Dull Headaches?
Hi. I am in new York and the climate is changing, clearly to winter. I have a history of migraines from time to time. And I do get stress headaches. I have had a dull headache for about a week. It is in the front of my head and pretty dull. Would this most likely be from climate change/pressure change or stress?
I reviewed your history you have provided here. It seems from the history that you are having migraines with precipitation of acute attacks with climate change. This is a known factor in migraine that weather changes can cause an acute attack of migraine. Stress can also can cause an attack of migraine. This requires treatment by the use of anti migraine drugs like ergotamine. Use of prophylactic drugs are needed in your case as you are having recurrent attacks. The commonly used prophylactic drugs are flunarizine or propranolol.
Do consult your doctor for examination and prescription of drugs.
Hope this information is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
