Hi,

AKT2 tablet contains both isoniazid and rifampicin which is used in the treatment of tuberculosis. This is an effective medication for tuberculosis if it is taken in the dose and duration as directed by the prescribing doctor. But, when anti tuberculosis drugs are taken with or after breakfast, hopefully nothing much will happen except there is a reduction in plasma concentration and bioavailability of the drugs. But, you don't need to start one year again from then. This mistake shouldn't be repeated, otherwise, it may reduce the effectiveness of AKT2. But from my point of view, it is at least better to take AKT2 with breakfast or after breakfast than miss a scheduled dose of anti tuberculosis drugs of that day. Anti tuberculosis drugs are recommended to be taken on an empty stomach, one hour before the breakfast or two hours after the breakfast and preferably with a full of glass of water. Ideally, anti tuberculosis drugs should be taken on a regular schedule.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
