Does Cancer Cause Fecal Inconsistency During Sleep?

18 months ago my husband had an emergency bowel cancer operation and all such tests say there is no cancer cells there but now he has just started to have a bowel motion while sleeping and then he wakes some time later and realises what has happened. In the last couple of weeks this had happened 3 or 4 times. Could this be related to the bowel cancer????? Or at the moment he is under a cardiologist for various other unrelated problems and is on so much medication, could the combination of the medicines be the reason? Thank you Mrgaret &David Harris

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Fecal incontinence may be due to your bowel surgery or rarely it may be due to drugs. There is high chance of some surgical complications. You should consult your surgeon and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
