Does Bathing During Periods Cause Any Health Complication?
Hi, I have a friend who was told by her older female family members that she should not take a shower during her period!!! She lives in a muslim country and not sure if this is something to do with religion or culture, but I heard it for the first time in my life and find it quite disgusting. This is absolutely baseless and there is no scientific reason for it. This, like many other myths, maybe a social or cultural myth which should be discouraged.
