Does Antibiotic Helps In Killing Body Virus?

Hi I want to know about Body Virus How to kill the body Virus I heard antbiotics can t kill the body virus. because i have ENT problem doctor said between EAR and Nose or middle of EAR there is virus and he has given some antibiotics which was doesn t worked Kindly let me know how to kill the Virus.. Thanks in advance

Hello,

Of course antibiotics can't kill a virus,they can only kill bacteria. Probably doctor thought you were having a bacterial infection and that's why he prescribed antibiotics. Antibiotics are commonly used by ENT doctors for infection.
