Hello
Your friend advised antibiotics and you got relief . Now your friend is suffering ( another ) and you want to give antibiotics. The self medication is a dangerous trend .
The 2nd most important point I want to tell you is that FLU is a viral disease and don't respond to antibiotics .
When flu occurs either take anti viral or simple paracetamol but after the advice of doctor .
Since you got relief with antibiotics ( may be mere coincidence ).
Need not to complete the course rather simple paracetamol is sufficient . If you have any problem . please consult a doctor and get his treatment .
Good luck.
