Does An Asthma Inhaler Reduce The Efficacy Of Nexplanon?

I have a nexplanon in my arm for about a year and I also found out that I have an asthma now and I take the asthma inhaler now, So I would like to know if the inhaler can make the nexplonon less effective or it s safe to take the inhaler while I am still on my nexplanon? Please reply. Thanks.

Asthma inhalers like steroids or bronchodilators doesn’t cause any alterations in the Nexplanon. You can safely depend on Nexplanon while you are on steroids and bronchodilators. Contraceptive failure won’t be a problem.
