Does An Allergic Reaction To Aspirin Cause Burning Sensation In The Legs?

I had a stent put in my leg for pad disease. I was prescribed plavix with a low dose baby aspirin once a day. Both my feet have been burning and is painful. Is it possible that I have an allergy to the baby aspirin. I am no diabetic. My blood pressure is 110 over 80. My cholesterol is 101. I do not know know what type of stent I have. I had an emg test on b1. Test was negative for nerve damage

Hi,

Aspirin rarely causes drug allergy and the burning sensation of feet may not be due to an allergic reaction. It might be due to something else like neuropathic pain. You can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
