Does Adrenal Insufficiency Cause Low Potassium Levels?

I have secondary adrenal insufficiency. Can this lead to low potassium? I have had low potassium before and took prescription potassium. What are the treatments for low potassium? IV? I also take daily hydrocortisone but am completely wiped out and my muscles in leg ache

No, sodium isn't held, it is wasted and if anything, the potassium goes up. Too much mineralocorticoids trade sodium (IN) for potassium (OUT) this can occur with growth of the adrenals; mostly it just (mildly) happens in some p[eople with HTN.
