Does A Rotator Cuff Injury Cause Tendonitis?

hope all is well. Is it possible that a slight tear in Rotator Cuff in right shoulder .. can also lead to bicep tendonitis.? I have red artery/bruising of that bicep plus it looks like a Pop-eye arm with visible green veins. This also goes into my right upper chest .. with pain now in my right armpit glands ..

Hello,

Any trivial trauma or infection can cause tendinitis to that part. Rather than chasing the etiology, kindly get treated with anti-inflammatory medication like Paracetamol, Ibuprofen etcetera.

If you want you can try analgesics like Diclofenac, Tramadol, Pethidine, etcetera, in case you have very severe pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
