Does A Minor Head Injury Cause Serious After Effects In A Baby?

Hello, my 1 and a half year old walked into the corner of a nightstand and it hit her right on the temple. Is this serious as is? Or what signs and symptoms should I look for before calling the doctor? (It happened right before bed time so she is already sleepy)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealtthcareMagic

Small bumps on head and falls are common in toddlers are common and is no cause for worry. However, If you notice excessive sleepiness, drowsiness or not sleeping well, vomiting , irritability, excessive crying or unusaual behaviour in your baby ,please consult a pediatrician as this can be indicative of more serious head trauma.

Hope I was able to help you
Please address further concerns
