Does A Lip Cut Need Stitches After Falling From The Chair?
Hi my 4 yr old tripped over leg of the chair and cut her lip, there is also a cut on the outside of the lip , I m not sure if the teeth has punctured right through! Will the outside cut need stitches.?? It s did not bleed much and she seems fine eating drinking etc

Hello, Thanks for your query. If your lip is swollen or bruised, apply a cold compress. If there is bleeding, apply pressure with a clean cloth for at least five minutes. Using ice can help limit swelling, bleeding and discomfort. Wrap crushed ice in clean gauze or a clean piece of cloth and hold it on the area affected.
