Does A Hematoma In The Scrotum Take Long To Get Cured?

Hi! I had testicular torsion surgery 3 weeks ago and after the surgery i had hematoma in the scrotum and it was healed 1 week later with punction. Half of the blood was punctioned and my scrotum is still quite swollen. How long it will take that my scrotum is back to normal

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It may take 4-6 weeks till hematoma is resorbed back to blood. ALso, some segree of swelling may persist due to hematoma orginasing and scarring. If there will be delay in this healing then you should do ultrasound and have repeated punctures if necessary. Also, it is advisable to keep testicles elevated as much as possible when laying down to facilitate venous blood flow.
