Does Zen Retard Tablet Cause Fetal Harm If Conceived?
hello my name is priya and i have many questions to ask but currently i want the solution for this question. I am married my age is 30 and since last 7-8 yrs i am taking Zen retard 200 one in the morning and two at night before sleeping. As recommended by dr Now i am planning for baby so will my medicine effect my baby or what should i do
Hello Priya You are taking ZEN RETARD ( CARBAMAZEPINE ) 200 mg one morning and two in the night . Now you want to to conceive . So this thing is for your information . It reduces polysynaptic responses and blocks post-tetanic potentiation . Effective in partial and generalized and mixed types convulsions . Carbamazine ( zen retard ) also reduces pain in trigeminal neuralgias and glossopharyngeal neuralgias. I mentioned all these things ( however , these are medically related ) so that you can easily understand that there is NOT any untoward effect on your baby during pregnancy i.e. NOT CONTRAINDICATED in pregnancy . Hope this will help you.
