Does Z-pak Cause Heart Attack In A Person With Arrhythmic Heart Beat?

I have been diagnosed with Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia (PAT) and have had it for close to 20 years. I was diagnosed today with strep throat and given a prescription for Z-Pak. I ve read recent discoveries that people with arrhythmia are at a high risk for a heart attack with this antibiotic. Should I be concerned enough to not take it and ask for a different antibiotic? I need to add that I am allergic to penicillin.

I really appreciate your concern, if it is arrhythmia then it may cause the ischemia of cardiac wall but antibiotic may not cause any heart attack or ischemia hope this information helps.
