Hello i am a afib patient i just started warfarin i was not having any episodes of afib but today after i took warfarin for the first time 3 hours.later i feel the afib and heart palpitation can warfarin cause this i have not have episodes of afib in over a month

Warfarin is a blood thinner used in afib to prevent blood clotting.
It is not causing afib or any other heart palpitation problems.
I think you should get checked immediately by your cardiologist to rule out any possible cardiovascular event which is very common in afib.
