Does Vyvance Or Abilify Cause Side Effects?

My daughter had complained that her hand will just lock up randomly. She is 13 years old and takes medications for adhd. She takes vyvance, abilify, and intuniv. I was wondering if any of these medications might be causing some kind of vitamin deficiency or electrolyte problem that would cause the above symptom ?

Hello
Welcome to HCM.

Your daughter is taking vyvanse, abilify and intuniv.

Sudden locking of hand is most probably not due to these medications.

Such side effect is not reported with any of these medications.

Regarding your concern about vitamin deficiency or electrolyte imbalance, I do not think this to be the effect of these medications.

In my opinion, you should consult an orthopedician to determine the causeof this problem.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
