Does Spironolactone Interact Negatively With Atorvastatin?

I m trying to find an article I ve already printed out on Drugs.com. Oops that probably answers my question right there. I need to go to that website? Regarding Atorvastatin and other drugs will affect atovastatin.......spironolactone apparently interacts negatively with Atorvastatin?

Hello,

the drugs.com website reports no interaction on the "interactions checker". There is indeed one though. Spironolactone may increase the blood levels of atorvastatin. This means that if you're using a high dose of atorvastatin, then it's possible that an increased rate of side effects may occur.
