Does Spironolactone And Losartan Affect Blood Pressure?

I take Losartan potassium for high blood pressure. I have MS and other problems, I am on copaxone and will be going on Gilenya soon. Thyroid problems, skin problems which brings me to my question, how will using Quercetin, Spironolactone, and Losartan effect my blood pressure?

Regarding your concern, i would explain that Losartan and to a smaller degree Spironolacton do affect your blood pressure, in realty they are antihypertensive drugs. When prescribed properly and to needed dosages they are shown effective on managing high blood pressure. Nevertheless, I would like to remember you that there are many different classes and strategies to manage high blood pressure, and depends on your attending physician to choose the right combination.
I also advice you to keep monitoring your heart rhythm frequently when using Gilenya, as it may trigger sometimes life-threatening arrhythmia.
