Does Sodium Citrate Help Treating The Throbbing And Stinging Sensation During Urination?

I have a throbbing and stinging sensation when passing urine.I have been and bought sodium citrate will this help or is it most likely to be a water infection, which I also had 8 months ago and it took 3 courses of antibiotics to clear it was so oasinful I couldn t even sit diwn

Sodium citrate helps to relieve symptoms of burning and stinging by neutralizing the acidity of the urine, that is by alkalinizing it.
It may help with the burning along with increased water consumption to dilute the urine. It, however, does not treat an infection
Do you have of the following
-redness
-itchy patches
-a fever, or
-pain in your groin or lower abdomen( the area below your belly button)
- dark colored urine or any particles in it
The cause may also vary between genders
