Does Sertraline Cause Fatigue And Shivering?

I have been taking Sertaline 100 mg. h.s. for the past three or so weeks, 50 mg. before that for about eight weeks and 25 mg. for several weeks before that. I have started having extreme shakiness, weakness and confusion. Can this be caused by Sertraline?

Hi.

Yes, it is most likely to be due to sertraline, and if you were not prescribed this increase in dosage then it would be best to visit a doctor for the same. But even if you have been prescribed this dosage, it is best to report them to your doctor for best management, but these are common side effects.

Best wishes.
