General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Regestrone is used to treat menstrual disorders and abnormal vaginal bleeding in women caused due to hormonal imbalances. It is also used for birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

This medicine is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy in near future.

So if you have tested positive for pregnancy and if you want to continue with it you should stop taking Regestrone at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
