Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Raynaud s also cause heart angina? I have recently had a heart attack and then noticed the classic color changes in my hands. Have had chilblains for years . I am 81, have been on homeopathic supplements active but now with the onset of the cold weather have had cold hands with color change. But most concerned about the cardiac circulation. I am a retired Podiatrist that no longer practices. Sold out.
As a physician, as per my knowledge, chest pain or heart disease is not directly linked with Raynaud's syndrome.
First thing, we have to clarify that Raynaud’s syndrome is disease of small arteries in fingers and toes. So, symptoms you experienced that is color change of your hand is because of Raynaud's syndrome.
I will suggest you to review here with detailed history or consult with the physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
