Does Prozac Cause Dark Itchy Spots On Back And Legs?
I have spots on the back of my legs and i itch something terrible. I was taking a new medication which is prozac and thought the itching could be from the medicine. The spots on the back of my legs have been there for months now but has increased in itching since the beginning of this new medication. I do have a family history of lupus and the dark spots is of great concerns. I see my primary doctor in about a week what are some good questions for her when i go?
Prozac like any other medicine can produce an allergic reaction. In your case you had mentioned that these spots were present before the start of the new medicine and therefore are not related to it. If you can upload a picture of the lesions, I would be able to give a better opinion. You can ask your primary doctor questions like what is your risk of getting Lupus. What care you should take to avoid getting it . What test you should do to detecting it early if you are to get it etc If you have any other question, I am available to answer.
