General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

For the irregular period and spotting Primolut-N like hormonal pill can be used. The cause for spotting include inflammation, endometriosis, fibroid, polyp, cervicitis etc. Therefore, you need to investigate further with ultrasonography pelvis and serum DHEA, AMH and prolactin estimation for primary work up.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
