Does Postinor 2 Cause Delayed Periods?

So in the month of September I had sex right after my period ended and I also did it two days before my period was due.. I take a postinor 2 after unprotected sex the next day and started develop side pains and it pains when I urinate.. I went to the doctor four days after he stated I have uti and I also did a pregnancy test and it was negative.. Could the position be delaying my period or the medication I am taking currently for the uti?

High dose progesterone can lead to delay in period.


For UTI antibiotic course can be prescribed.


If needed for UTI further work up can be done in the form of USG pelvis.
