Does Persinal Injection Delays Ovulation?

i did iui for the first time.every month 13th day i had ovulated.but this time i went to fertility treatment.11th day i had one persinal 150 injection.then 13th day went to follicular scan egg size 2.2 cm.doctor told me to take persinal 150.after 15th day went to follicular scan.doctor told egg was ruptured.fluid found in pod.then after 4 hrs i went for iui.my doubt is this iui time is correct or not.is hormonal injection delays ovulation or not and if i was ovulated on day 14,next day it shows the egg rupture in follicular scan or not.

Thanks for asking. I understand your concern.
-Inj. Persinal 15o does not cause delay in ovulation.. it just helps in maturity of ovums.
-delay in ovulation could be due to psychological stress preceeding iui.
-When ovulation was on 14th day... iui time was all right.. (as after ovulation ovum is live till 3 days following ovulation)
-Ovulation is judged by absence of perticular ovum in ovary & Presence of free fluid in pouch of douglus.
