Does O Negative Blood Group Cause Trouble In Conception And Childbirth?

1) my wife is 0 negative and am positive, she delivered a baby boy but died shortly after delivery due to essesive loss of blood. Pls I will like to know if her blood group has anything to do with these. 2) We had over 2 years delay before this conception. I will like to know if it has anything to do with 0 negative

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
If mothe's blood group is negative and baby's blood group is positive then it leads to rh incompatibility and chance of hemolytic disease of new born. Mother should take anti D injection to prevent that.
Delay in conception has no relation with any blood group.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
