Does Nexium Have A Negative Effect On Maintaining Erection?

I am 37 years old and recently my doctor prescribed Nexium for my acid reflux condition. From the time I started taking the medication, I have lost all interest in sex and I cannot maintain an erection. This is all new to me and I do not know what to do. Nexium is the only RX I am taking right now.

Hello
You are taking nexium i.e. proton pump inhibitors for acid reflux .
After this drug sex drive is very low, may be due to these possibilities .
1 Tension of disease ,is one such cause , because this is mere coincidence that you develop decrease in sex while using nexium because nexium don't causes any untoward effect on sex.
2 Acid reflux or hyper acidity some times may decreases sex in few patients.
In my opinion consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion for sex .
While consult your treating physician also for this problem.
