Does Nexium Cause A False Positive For Tetrahydrocannabinol?
Hi -- I have quick question about Nexium 24 Hour.....I have a Rx for Omeproxole....40 mg 2x a day -- My Rx ran out -- and I bought Nexium24Hour OTC.....I am on Probation and am subject to UA testing by an FDA Lab....I was reading on the internet that some people were saying Nexium can product a false positive for THC.....But then others are say (on the internet) -- that when a LAB does the testing that is not the case...Do you have any insight ????
Nexium less likely can cause false positive results. Drugs like Amitryptiline, Bupropion, Diltiazem, Diphenhydramine, Ibuprofen, Metformin, Methylphenidate, Doxylamine etc.
It may be false positive results also, Amphetamine intake may sometimes give false positive results.
Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
