Does Mobic Cause Respiratory Failure?

My question concerns a recent medication i was on. Very recently i suffered respiratory failure and the doctors took me off of a lot of my meds, one was my Mobic. Are there any side effects that are related to respiratory problems? Also same question re: Toprol XL 100.

Both Mobic and Toprol can cause bronchospasm. Bronchospasms in patients who already have respiratory failure is dangerous.
