General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data like age, gender, presence of any other medical illness.
Losartan Potassium is unlikely to cause weight gain.
Its most common side effects include fall in BP, dry cough and allergic reactions in some individuals.
Kindly consult your treating physician for proper clinical evaluation and to carry out certain lab tests such as CBC, ESR, thyroid function tests, etc to rule out thyroid diseases.
Hope this will help.
