Does Lisinopril Reduce The Urine Output To Prevent Protein Loss During Urination?

Lisinopril belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE inhibitors Ace inhibitors reduce protien loss due to urination. My question is does it do this by reducing total urine output OR does it really reduce the amount of protein in any given volume of urine.

Hi,

It is not the case ACE inhibitor actually, inhibit the enzyme which is responsible for converting the Angiotensin I to II and it may not have any role it protein it may some time increase the glomerular filtration rate but it is connected with other pathophysiological factors still may nor play any role as long as urine protein is concern, topic demand the lengthy discussion which is not possible here.
