Does Lipitor Cause Internal Brain Bleeding?

Several years ago I had a brain bleed requiring surgery to go into my skull to stop the bleeding. Recently I had a pin point seisure and my doctor prescribed Lipitor and Keppra. When I look up side effects of Lipitor one of them is hemorrhagic stroke. Is this not what my brain bleed was? Why would he prescribe this?

It is used to treat primarily high cholesterol, which helps to lower the risk of stroke, and heart attack. Common side effects of Lipitor include: hemorrhagic stroke, arthralgia, diarrhea, and nasopharyngitis. Along with its desired effects, atorvastatin may cause some unwanted effects. Even though not all of these side effects may occur, but, if they do occur, they may need medical attention.
