Does Limarin Help In Bringing Down SGOT And SGPT Level?

dear drs, my wife is diagnosed with tb..and she is on anti tb medicines for the past 10 days..did her liver function test today(day 10 )..sgot level found to be 280..she is on limarin 140 mg TDS now..
are these levels(sgot 280) dangerously high?? will her sgot sgpt become stabilised with limarin?? how long does it take to be stabilised??

These are pretty high levels and limarin may just slightly reduce it. I think that exact cause of jaundice should be established first and then right treatment can be started. If there is viral hepatitis or bile obstruction than no medication can help so you should investigate cause of such high liver markers first.
