Minor reversible side effects like cheilitis, dry skin are common and usually the only side effects of Isotretinoin treatment. Increased hair shedding is a side effect in some but not all. On the contrary Isotretinoin improves the quality of life of acne patients and has a positive impact on psyche and the way the patients perceive themselves. In my view Isotretinoin brings remarkable improvement in severe acne and is considered to be a magical treatment of acne.
