Does Insulin Cause Damage To The Eyes?

I was drawing insulin into a syringe and when I pulled the needle out of the bottle somehow a little bit of humlin insulin got into my eye. Will it be fine or is there anything I need to do. Im not a diabetic it was for a inmate so I just want to make sure everything is good

I think it will not irritate your eyes.
It may lower your blood sugar a little bit so you can have a fruit juice and something to eat in order to increase blood sugar.
