Does IBS Cause Severe Pain In The Abdomen?

39 yr old female. I m having stomach pains, can t eat, stomach is swollencant sneeze or hump without doubling over in pain. By bowels change and have blood in in them lately. I ve been diagnosed with IBS but my stomach has never hurt this bad, is this normal?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

You are having blood in stool. Let me know, whether blood is fresh red coloured or brown color? Infective etiology had to be ruled out by stool routine micro examination and occult blood test. Ofloxacin plus ornidazole combination drug should be prescribed for seven days empirically. Green leafy vegetable and fruits should be taken more. You can revert back with reports for giving more comment.
