Hi and Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor Service'. I have viewed your question and here is my advice.
Yes gabapentin can have many central nervous system effects including nervousness , tremors , confusion and abnormal sleep .However this should only be attributed to the drug if other causes of delirium are ruled out. If he has fever, headache , vomiting he must then consult the doctor.

Hopes this help you understand your problem, please feel free to ask anything else about it.
Kind Regards
Dr Rahman
