Does Flomax Help In Increasing The Frequency Of Urination?

I had a TURP done in 2007. I was quadriplegic from a cervical access that compressed my spinal chord. I had a leg bag and catheter for 6 months before the TURP was done. After the TURP I was able to urinate but not normally. Ever since then I only urinate twice a day if I'm lucky. I just don't feel like I have to pee. Is there a medication that will help me urinate more often? I have regained the use of my body and I'm back to about 90% normal (after a lot of hard work). Would Flomax be a good place to start to help me urinate more? I don't have a doc right now because money is tight and my insurance requires me to pay $5000 first before it kicks in.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi
Yes you could try urimax. However you will need a test called uroflowmetry and urodynamics to assess what is happening to the urinary tract.
