Does Flomax Cause Blurry Vision?

My husband is having blurry vision. He has hypothyroid and takes Synthroid. He also has BPH and takes Flomax. I ve read that Flomax can cause blurry vision because it affects the constriction and dilation of the pupil. If his blurry vision is a side effect of the Flomax, will it go away if he stops taking it or could his vision be actually damaged?

Flomax(tamsulosin) can cause visual disturbances like blurred vision and visual impairment. Though these side effects are rare and there are very less reports of such cases; patients having blurred vision were more likely to improve once the drug was stopped.
As your husband is having only blurred vision; stopping of drug will probably reverse the effect. Do consult your physician for an alternative medications or he may suggest surgical options for your husband's BPH.
