Does Epilim Intake Have An Effect On The LFT Levels?

Hi I am a 39y/o female and i had a blood test yesterday and my LFT came back 300. im not a heavy drinker but do enjoy 3-4 bourbons every couple of nights. i am worried as to what my results mean. i did take epilim when i was younger but always had a blood test for LFT every 6 months and all was good. Has that had any affect on my LFT results yesterday???? Regards Takeeta

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Epililm is a safe drug and it will not cause any liver damage, slightly elevated LFT is not significant and does not warrant any active treatment.

You can simply repeat the test after one week to check whether it persists or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
