Hello dear,
E.coli infection can lead to frequent urination with burning sensation. It usually responds well to antibiotics. If it causes frequent recurrences,we have to look for the cause. You can note the following.
1)Do a urine culture and sensitivity test, and take the appropriate antibiotic in full course.
2)Test your partner also, and treat if needed;avoid multiple partners.
3)Also,any anatomical abnormality of urinary tract is to be looked for(more common in children).
I hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
