General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
The medication Duromine (phentermine) does not interact with birth control in general, whether it be oral pills or depo injections. I cannot say with certainty that there is no interaction because I do not know what contraceptive you are on. It is likely that the Duromine will not affect your contraceptive. To be sure, please ask your doctor about your specific medications.
